Things To Do During Your Stay

Competa is a lovely place to sit back and relax in. You can also enjoy active holidays in Competa. The village and surrounding area offer visitors a range of activities to enhance your holiday. These activities are also a great idea for a surprise or gift.

If you enjoy walking holidays you can access all the best walks in Competa, Andalucia with a week long walking programme. And of course we can arrange golf trips for you at one (or more) of the courses near to us.

	Walking Holiday in Andalucia There are 2 walking packages available light & intermediate. Maps, routes & walk leader (for long walks only) are provided. Over 80 routes are available. €168 for two people for a week of walks. Click the image to the left for more information (201kb).
	Individual Walks in Competa, Andalucia The Axarquia is a great place to get out and about, and where better than in the Sierras Almijaras. Finding your way around can be a bit tricky, as guide books often give vague descriptions. You can purchase detailed instructions for individual walks from us during your stay. All routes have been walked and plotted with a GPS, there is an accompanying map and instructions with photos.
	Mosaic or Sculpture Courses Moira Schepel & Irene Bertoni and artists resident in Competa. They offer two different 5 day courses in Sculpture or Mosaic. Prices for the sculpture courses start at €250 and the mosaic courses are from €270. Click the image to the left for more information (34kb).
	Golf Play 1, 2, or 3 times (3 different courses) a week. Prices start from €80 and include club hire, transport, balls, water & playing partner. Click the image to the left for more information (49kb).
	Spanish Lessons One to one Spanish lessons with teacher, CDs & learning materials - €20 per hour. Click the image to the left for more information (14kb).
	Sailing A day's sailing from Marina Del Este. Half a day €70 per person including transport & full day €100 per person including transport.
	Jeep Tours Explore the National Park with transport & Guide, lunch included. €120 a day.
	Sightseeing Trips Malaga City / Nerja / Granada / Alhambra (pre-booking needed) / Beach Day / Market days (various towns). Prices and more information available on request.
	Horse Riding Coming soon. Maximum of 7 persons.
